Please be sure to read these terms and conditions. Terms and conditions may change from time to time and it is your responsibility to check for updates. By using this site or booking a service, you agree to these terms and conditions.

HOW TO BOOK A COURSE

In order for us to fulfil our commitment to provide you with quality courses we need to implement the following terms and conditions. By booking a course you are agreeing to be bound by the terms and conditions of sallytyler.com. Students will be required to wear clean, comfortable clothes. Following completion of the enrolment process, you will be notified of the booking confirmation by email (if address provided) or post. Sally Tyler reserves the right to refuse any booking without explanation. Your confirmation letter will be your receipt of payment. No other receipt will be issued.

PAYMENT METHOD

To secure a place on any of our training courses you are required to complete an enrolment/booking form and payment of the required amount. Payment of the course(s) must be made upfront to confirm
enrolment. You will receive a confirmation email within 3 days of receiving your payment and enrolment form.

 

Fees and deposits may be paid by:

  • Cheque made payable to Sally Tyler

  • Cash

  • Direct bank transfer. Please either email us to request bank details or you find them on the enrolment form.

  • In special circumstances fees may also be paid in monthly instalments by standing order and paid in full before the beginning of the course.

CANCELLING A BOOKING

In accordance with Distance Selling Regulation 2000 you are entitled to a 7-day cooling off period which enables you to receive your full payment should you need to cancel your booking. Any cancellations must be in writing and within 7 days of booking the course. If a booking is cancelled after 7 days or we do not receive written confirmation all deposits will be lost as fees are non transferable nor refundable. If you need to withdraw from a course for any reason once it has commenced you will NOT receive any refund. You may be able to attend the next scheduled programme which may be subject to additional costs.
 

Should a student be unable to attend a class or course for personal reasons, or we withdraw a student for lack of attendance, or failure to deliver course work by required deadlines, they will have no claim to a
reimbursement of the course fee or transfer to a later course. Students are required to attend at least 80% of certificated courses. In such circumstances a student will be liable for full course fees. Exceptions may be made on production of a medical certificate.

CANCELLATION OR AMENDMENTS OF TRAINING BY US

All courses are subject to minimum number of students booked prior to commencement. In the event that there are insufficient numbers to run the course, students will be notified as soon as possible and
offered a place on the next course or monies will be refunded subject to Sally Tyler’s discretion.

 

If the required course is fully booked you will be contacted and an alternative date will be discussed. If the numbers for courses are insufficient Sally Tyler reserves the right to cancel and return any monies to students or transfer to another date without additional cost.

COURSE COST INCLUDES

Course costs include all necessary materials to ensure you receive excellence in training. Unless otherwise stated costs include: course literature, materials, tuition fees, assessments, marking, refreshments and biscuits.
The courses do not include kit costs, equipment, products, travel / accommodation expenses or food.

INSURANCE

It is your responsibility to check if your insurers will accept the pending qualifications to your existing cover before booking the course(s).

CERTIFICATES

Certificates are awarded at the end of a programme or after a qualification has been successfully passed by the examining board or tutor. Students must have demonstrated a level of competence required to achieve certification. Non-accredited courses, you will not receive a certificate, just your course manual.

OUR PROMISE

Any student who fails to meet the required standard after the completion of a course including assignments/case studies will be invited back to re-take the course(s) which may require additional payment for tutor time. We will only pass on this cost if it is absolutely necessary.

HEALTH AND SAFETY

Students are required to inform Sally Tyler of any medical condition prior to booking the course. Some therapies are physically demanding, therefore it is vital that your health and fitness is of acceptable
standard to perform the therapies. By agreeing to these terms and conditions you are stating you are medically fit to perform and receive the therapy you have chosen to learn.

 

Disclaimer: if your tutor deems it a health and safety risk for you to continue on a programme you will forfeit all course fees. If you are in doubt please contact us prior to enrolling onto any courses.

COURSE TIMES

Most courses run 10am till 5pm unless stated. Please arrive by 9.45 ensuring you meet the required standard of dress and appearance. Participants who arrive more than 30 minutes after the course has started may not be allowed to join the class and will forfeit course fees.
 

Please note that Sally Tyler is a private training provider although classes do not normally run over a bank holiday, some may be scheduled to run within school holidays so please check and plan before enrolling and committing to a course. Please read terms and conditions before enrolling on a course.
